What a week! One that I’d happily forget.
Sadly, I have some pretty tough news. my wife Sarah has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.
We are working quickly to build a path to fight this. Thankfully, we are in Singapore, one of the most advanced countries in the world.
Today was a big day! We have the results of a biopsy that she had on Saturday! This is what we have needed. This is the puzzle piece that determines the path forward. Sarah has EGFR gene mutation Non-small cell lung cancer. The good news; this has streaked ahead in terms of R and D, in turn leading to MASSIVE advancements in treatment. More good news; we can ATTACK it using ‘tablet treatment’. It is therefore likely that we will not be required to pursue chemo/ radio. We will let you know more about this tomorrow. Yeh...we’re pretty happy here. 😁😁😁. A very tired household after a week to forget. Thank you again everyone. We need you more than ever.
We stay the path. We deal with this speed hump and make sure we live life as happily and normally as possible. #teameade
I am in your corner 100%. Here if you need anything and am so very impressed by your strength and determination. ❤️
